Restaurant Crystal in Jungfraujoch is really more about the view than the food. Sitting by the snow on top of the mountain with a glass of wine is an experience you won’t forget. It’s packed with tourists, noisy, and honestly feels a bit like a tourist trap, but that’s part of the charm. The food is basic and overpriced, nothing special in terms of flavor, but the scenery makes up for it. The waiters try a little too hard to be funny, repeating the same jokes to every table. It can get a bit annoying if you prefer a calmer vibe. Still, it’s one of those places you should try at least once for the view alone, because not every day you get to have a drink surrounded by snow on top of the Swiss Alps.

This is a great restaurant with an amazing view at Jungfrau. We had the hash browns (vegetarian) as well as the cheesecake and both were great. Service was polite, prompt and they found us a table by the window without us asking.

One of the restaurant at the Top of Europe. Managed to get a table even though we did not reserve. You can find a variety of cuisine but also traditional Swiss food. Got to try their cheese fondue which some might find overwhelming with the alcohol. I also thought the bread was too soft, the pretzel was a better bread for dipping the cheese. You could also keep your Top of Europe cup of coffee if you ordered one.

I went there with my girlfriend because we wanted to celebrate her birthday in a special place. As soon as the team knew it was her birthday they brought festive things including a special napkin, decorations and they also brought a candle in the dessert! They were fantastic! The food was really good, and the views to the glacier are superb! We had the traditional Swiss fondue and the crystal rosti. In terms of prices, it is the same if you’re having lunch in any restaurant in Switzerland which is great! We were served by Cristina who did an amazing job. She was super nice, always helpful, very kind! She was superb! Also, and despite we are very comfortable in English, she’s Portuguese and we had the opportunity to chat in Portuguese which became the experience even better. We also had the opportunity to chat with Simon, which was also super kind, always asking if everything was ok, also came to the table as soon as he knew it was my girlfriend’s birthday! On a close table, there was a person that wasn’t feeling well and he was very careful and always checking on the person! It is an amazing place and we highly recommend if you’re visiting jungfraujoch you should visit the restaurant.

We didn't have a reservation but despite a sign outside the restaurant saying they were fully booked for lunch, we managed to be able to get a table for a late lunch. The service was very friendly and attentive. Particularly, our waitress Teodora and Simon who managed the front of the house. Our meal was enjoyable and well cooked. In terms of food, we had roasted chicken pasta, rosti, cheese fondue and a side of fries. The views from the restaurant were very nice too. Cost wise I've attached our receipt, to be honest given how expensive meals are in Switzerland in general, we found this meal to be very reasonable in price considering that there are very few food options available at the Top of Europe. Would recommend coming here for a proper sit down meal based on the lovely service and the food.

I came here alone for lunch and was warmly greeted the moment I stepped into the restaurant. Throughout the meal, the staff were incredibly friendly and engaging in conversation, which really lifted my spirits after feeling a bit disappointed about not being able to see the mountain view due to the unstable weather. I ended up staying and enjoying a delicious cheese fondue paired with a glass of white wine recommended by the staff. Just as I finished eating, the sun came out, the clouds cleared, and I was lucky enough to witness the stunning, majestic peaks. Thank you to the wonderful staff for bringing warmth to my day — it was a truly memorable experience.

The food was certainly above average IMHO. Do make reservation as the restaurant can be fully packed during lunch even we were there in mid May and not the peak season. A big shout out to the waiters who were very entertaining and customers-centric. My son was not well due to high altitude and he was kind enough to offer him candy which it did help to calm him down.

We had a delicious fondue lunch, the perfect accompaniment to the views from our table. Kristian was attentive and made the entire experience comfortable. We left with full stomachs and wonderful memories. Highly recommend - and get the fondue and frites (a specific suggestion from Kristian, and a brilliant combination!)
